Innovative software company VIBES.technology has received a capital injection from UNIIQ (InnovationQuarter’s proof-of-concept fund) and regional partners. The decision was announced on 6 October by Theun Baller, dean of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering at TU Delft. This investment will enable the startup to further develop technology that will help amongst others automotive manufacturers to detect and eliminate vibrations and noise at an early stage in the design process. “Not only does this improve user experience, it also extends a product’s life cycle,” says VIBES.technology’s co-founder Daniël van den Bosch. Major industries, amongst which BMW Group, use the expertise of VIBES.technology and the tools are also deployed at the Institute for Applied Mechanics at the TU Munich.

In The Hague, the International City of Peace, Justice and Security, the Arab Network for Women's Rights, KARAMA, opened a new European office today. From the WTC The Hague and in the heart of The Hague IT community, KARAMA members are at risk of their lives against ISIS and Al Qaeda in Syria, Libya and Yemen, and fight for women's rights in Arab countries. The Hague's Deputy Major Saskia Bruines, together with Member of Dutch Parliament Han Ten Broeke, entrepreneur Ad Koole and Corinne Heijn of United Success and member of the Advisory Board Karama Europe, conducted the official opening.
