Triple Bio chooses South Holland as headquarters to prepare for global growth
Triple Bio, a company developing nutritional solutions for more sustainable dairy farming, has chosen South Holland as the headquarters for its new group structure. The company’s ambition is simple: to make cattle farming more sustainable and more profitable. From South Holland, Triple Bio will work with researchers, investors and industry partners to bring its technology from the laboratory to the farm.
Tackling one of dairy farming’s biggest challenges
Dairy farmers are being asked to reduce greenhouse gas emissions without compromising productivity or profitability. That is easier said than done.
Triple Bio believes those goals can go hand in hand. The company is developing a feed additives that help cows get more energy from the same diet, allowing farmers to produce more milk while reducing methane emissions. The technology, called RumeNRG™, is now moving into its next phase of development.
Only a year since being founded, Triple Bio is preparing for animal studies later this year. These trials will test whether the promising laboratory results can also be achieved under real farm conditions.

Why South Holland?
With the founding team split across the UK and The Netherlands, choosing a location was about much more than finding office space.
Complementing existing R&D facilities in Bristol (UK), Triple Bio was looking for an ecosystem, where biotechnology, animal nutrition and agricultural innovation come together. South Holland offered exactly that. The region combines world-class biotechnology companies, a strong dairy heritage with leading universities, and internationally recognised expertise in animal nutrition. At the same time, its international business environment and proximity to Schiphol make it an attractive base for a company with global ambitions.

Why a Dutch headquarters?
Due to their initial R&D activities being in Bristol (UK), Triple Bio was first established as a British entity in 2025. However, with two of the company’s founders, Peter Rowe (CEO) and Bart Tas (CTO), being Dutch residents, the company has always had a Dutch presence, albeit with no physical location or legal entity. The new group structure sees a Dutch holding company able to take investment from European-focused investors, which can be distributed to both Dutch and British subsidiaries. With planned growth of activities in South Holland, the new structure also allows more straightforward access to regional, national and European funding.
Landing with regional support
Building a company in a new country involves more than finding a location. It also means finding the right people, partners, and opportunities.

For Triple Bio, establishing its new headquarters in South Holland is just the beginning. The company hopes to turn promising laboratory research into practical solutions that help dairy farmers reduce emissions while improving productivity.
The next milestone is to validate its technology in animal studies later this year. Alongside this, Triple Bio will continue building partnerships with universities, investors and companies across the animal feed sector.
