Flemish, Scottish and Dutch healthcare companies meet at trade show in The Hague
On 28 September, a delegation of more than 20 companies took part in the matchmaking event with Scottish, Dutch and Flemish companies.
The next day, a visit to the World of Healthcare congress at the Fokker Terminal in The Hague was scheduled. As part of this congress, the delegation participated in a brokerage event to meet up with relevant parties with common interest.
In addition, the World of Healthcare hosted a workshop “From Health Challenge to Business”, initiated by the SHINE projectpartners. At this inspiring session, Johan Bruneel (Flanders), Andrew Fowlie (Scotland) and Hanneke Molema (the Netherlands) shared their vision on the future of the health care economy (see presentations below) to an audience of more than 80 people.
Share knowledge between countries
InnovationQuarter organised this road show to share knowledge and solutions to the shared struggles within the health economy in Belgium, Schotland and the Netherlands.
How can we come to business models where both health institutions and companies profit from and which have an impact on the patients? How can we implement the good ideas in this changing world, where it can be hard to really make an impact because all stakeholders have to take a part? How can we allign public and private partners?
The discussions and shared best practices within the Flemish, Scottish and Dutch group was an inspiring step forwards.
